Jackie Blumberg

CO Division of Water Resources

Jackie Blumberg is a Dam Safety Engineer for the State of Colorado’s Department of Water Resources. She offices out of the Grand Junction area and regulates dams on the beautiful Grand Mesa. As part of the Dam Safety Program, Ms. Blumberg strives to ensure safe storage levels within reservoirs in her area and to educate and inform dam Owners and the public about dam safety. Ms. Blumberg serves as the Colorado Dam Safety Program’s certified drone pilot and specializes in remote inspections of hazardous or difficult to reach aspects on dams, image collection and terrain mapping.
When not at work, Ms. Blumberg enjoys trail running, rock climbing and parachuting with her husband and spending time with their two pugs.
