Audrika Nahian is a current PhD student of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Jackson State University. She has completed her B.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. She has work experience as a Research Associate and Research Consultant at Institute of Water and Flood Management and Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services respectively.
Her research experience involves water quality monitoring, feasibility study of various dredging, embankment design project, sanitation and hygiene development in rural areas. Now her interest integrates hydrodynamic modeling, climate change, geo-hydrology and resilience of sustainable infrastructure. Her current project involves impact analysis of climate change on hydraulic structure depending on stage hydrograph. She has expertise in GIS, HEC-RAS, SMS, Plaxis.
