Milan Jankovic is a professional engineer specializing in hydrology, hydraulics, and water resources with design experience, including a broad range of civil and mining works, such as water supply, wastewater, stormwater, flood inundation, erosion and flood control, hydropower, waterways, as well as climatology, hydrology, slurry pumping systems, raw and return water pumping systems, leach circuit pumping systems (raffinate distribution and pregnant leach systems), pipelines, tailing facilities, heap leach facilities, sediment control structures, hydraulic structures (spillways, culverts, stilling basins, diversion channels,...), water balances, etc.
Mr. Jankovic has two master of science degrees in civil engineering and 24+ years of international design experience. In the Dam Safety industry, he established himself through the work done for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Reclamation as a contractor, working on the rehabilitation design process of dams and dikes located on Native American Lands. Mr. Jankovic is recognized as one of the leaders in flood inundation and flood control, giving speeches at many international conferences. He provided a methodology of how to protect people’s lives from uncertain flood events.
Currently, he is focused on 3D modeling of various dam spillway structures.
Milan is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado, Washington, and Georgia, as well as for the Republic of Serbia in Europe where he is originally from.
