Tony L. Wahl, P.E.

Tony Wahl has worked 34 years at the Bureau of Reclamation Hydraulics Laboratory in Denver, Colorado on a variety of hydraulic structures topics including flow measurement, fish screening, spillways, embankment dam breach, and soil erodibility measurements. Most recently he has been focusing on spillway issues, including water surface profile calculation, hydraulic jacking, and stepped spillways. He was the 2005 Bureau of Reclamation Federal Engineer of the Year and the 2019 recipient of the Hydraulic Structures Medal.
