Eric Dixon is the manager of the Design & Construction Section at the Utah Division of Water Resources, which is a division in the Utah Department of Natural Resources. Eric has worked at the division for 10 years. Prior to that, he worked at Franson Civil Engineers, a private engineering firm in American Fork, Utah. The majority of his career has focused dams. This has included construction of new dams and rehabilitation of existing dams to meet current dam safety standards. Eric has enjoyed working on all aspects of the design and construction process, from initial conceptual planning through project construction.
Eric attended Brigham Young University, where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering, with an emphasis on geotechnical and water resources engineering. He lives in American Fork, Utah, with his amazing wife and 3 of his 8 children that are still at home. In his spare time he enjoys playing board/card games and sports.
