Harry Donaghy is a registered professional engineer with AECOM specializing in geotechnical design and analyses of earth dams. He received BS and MS degrees in civil engineering with a focus in geotechnical engineering from the University of Kentucky. During his 6 years of experience with AECOM, he has focused on the seepage and stability analyses of embankment dams. He supported the independent forensic team’s evaluation of the Edenville and Sanford Dam failures. He co-authored a guidance document on “Seepage and Slope Stability Modeling for Embankment Dams”, presented an ASDSO webinar title “Slope Stability Modeling for Embankment Dams: Planning, Interpreting, and Reporting Results,” and each year helps teach the ASDSO technical seminars on “Seepage through Earth Dams” and “Stability Analysis of Embankment Dams.”
