Mark Baker is a professional engineer with 31 years of dam safety experience: 17 with the Bureau of Reclamation, 9 years as Dam Safety Officer of the National Park Service, and now as a Senior Dam Safety Program Engineer with is own consulting firm called DamCrest Consulting. He performs independent reviews of dam safety programs, Owner Dam Safety Program Audits, and other dam safety program and project assistance.
He is the founder and co-chair of the ASDSO Dam Failures and Incidents committee and led the Spencer Dam Failure Investigation.
