Randall Bushey is a graduate of UCLA in engineering, Masters work at University of Miami in Coastal Engineering, and has been a practicing Professional Engineer in Florida and the SE United States for 47 years. Mr. Bushey has been employed in both the private and public sectors in Florida. He has held positions in the public sector as District Beach Erosion Engineer - Broward County, Bureau Chief – Bureau of Mine Reclamation – DNR State of Florida, and Director of the Everglades Construction Project, and Assistant Deputy Executive Director for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) – SFWMD. As a consulting engineer in the private sector he has specialized in civil engineering, coastal engineering, phosphate mining reclamation and permitting, water resources engineering, and dam and levee design, construction, inspections and dam safety training. Mr. Bushey is employed with Jacobs as a Principal Water Resource Engineer. Mr Bushey is also a retired US Navy CAPTAIN in the Naval Civil Engineer Corps – Seabees.
