State Conservation Engineer

Diana Perry has been the State Conservation Engineer for Oklahoma NRCS since September 2023. During the five prior years, Diana was the Project Engineer for all of Oklahoma’s 2107 flood control dams overseeing construction on several dam rehabilitation projects and many repair projects throughout the state. The rehabilitation projects included the installation of Oklahoma’s first articulated concrete blocked auxiliary spillway rehabilitation in western Oklahoma. Another project was a roller compacted concrete auxiliary spillway for the Agricultural Research Service’s Field Station Lake dam in Woodward, Oklahoma. In her new role, Diana is continuing to work with watershed sponsors to manage Oklahoma’s flood control structures.
Diana has been a federal employee for 23 years. During that time, she has been with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Army Corp of Engineers, Rural Development, and the Indian Health Service. Diana is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, and she is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma.
