Amy LeFebvre is a Licensed Professional Geologist (WA) and worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District from 2005 to 2023. She has served as a member of the Northwest Division Dam and Levee Safety Risk Cadre from 2012 to 2023, performing site characterization and potential failure mode analyses in support of risk assessments. She is now working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Risk Management Center where she continues to support risk assessments as well as contributes to the paleoflood program and workshops offered by the Risk Management Center. She has received a B. A. in Geology from the University of Minnesota, a M.S. in Geology from Portland State University, and a M.E. in Geotechnics from the University of Missouri S&T.
