Fernando Castaneda, P.E.

Fernando Castaneda, P.E., is a Geotechnical Engineer with the Bureau of Reclamation, Technical Services Center since 2015. He previously worked for the Army Corps of Engineers in the Jacksonville District and URS Corp. He recieved a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Florida in 2008. Fernando works on Dam Safety and capitol improvement projects for USBR, his role includes potential failure mode analysis, risk analysis, seepage and slope stability modeling, modification design, engineering during construction for dam and spillway modification projects.
