Bill McCormick is currently Quality Assurance Manager for the Black & Veatch (B&V) construction management team on the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project near Loveland, CO. Prior to rejoining B&V, Bill was Chief of Dam Safety for the state of Colorado and a past president of ASDSO. While Chief of Dam Safety, he led the ground-breaking CO-NM Regional Extreme Precipitation Study (REPS). While an ASDSO President and Director, he led legislative advocacy efforts toward passage of the PRECIP Act, mandating NOAA lead PMP modernization efforts. Bill is also currently Chair of the ASDSO Extreme precipitation Investigation Committee (EPIC) Task Group, which will be supporting NOAA with implementation of a National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) PMP Modernization Study recommendations from the national dam safety stakeholder perspective.
